i played 31 hours once, i went to the toilet 3 times and ate in front of the computer.

The only reason i stopped was because i blacked out, after that i went straight to bed and didnt touch computer games for about a week.

Note this was CS source+GW+DotA, i cant play GW for more than 10 hours without needing to take a break/play something else as it becomes very boring.

37 hours, before I just had to die and sleep for like 19. I believe that was on factions launch.

15 hrs or so on the day I first got the game.

Gow myself a big jug of water, didn't eat, and only stopped when I really needed to use the bathroom.

...just one more quest...

<.<

My playing habits have improved dramatically since

I played a total of 23 hours once, I would've kept going but either I got disconnected or gw doesnt like people who are on for an entire day (it was summer, I was bored, and I was too lazy to remove myself from my computer seat and go outside.

Taped a water jug to my head, and fed myself from a nearby potato chip bag all day! xD

(fyi I would not reccomend doing that to anyone, it is really really hard to resist going to the bathroom xD)

I once played Guild Wars for 28 hours straight.
My sleeping pattern was kind of screwed up during the summer 2006 and I wanted to get it fixed. I woke up at 6 o'clock in the evening so I could join the guild for an Underworld clear run. That took a few hours. Then I did some PvP, farming, took my alternative characters further in Factions and helped out guildies with some missions. With some help of caffeine I managed to stay up for 28 hours, went to bed at 10 o'clock in the evening the next day and after that I was able to get up at 7 o'clock in the morning like everyone else.

Lol well, taking into consideration games besides Guild Wars...

I would often play CS for 10 hours a day during the summer with my friend the entire time. The only reason I stopped is because after that 10 hours, my PC got FRGAAJAADFED and I had to restart it because I'd get 20fps (wtf).

more than 10 hours on many many occasions.

Played one day soon after factions was released from 8am - 5:30am the next day. I remember was with a group trying to defeat Urgoz, then I looked over and noticed the sun coming up I never did get that damn bow. I had to buy it, and this was back when it was worth 100k + 30ectos.

I've watched the sun come up on many occasions... usually GvG. Guess the longest would be 12 hours or something like that. I'm a lot more piecemeal these days though.

Something like 10-12 hours straight when grinding gamer points in Snowball Arenas. VERY long win streak. (was over 100, forget how many)

hmm that sounds what i need to do, my sleep schedual is so screwed up right now.

longest played in one sitting.. well i got the 8 hour warning just befor i logged off.. i was in ab with a bunch of friends rockign out for like.. 5 hours straight. longest in one sitting is prolly close to 12, over nighters for me sometimes. for the 9 rings afk tho.. yeah thats like 4 days worth, i'd shut my computer down for a half hour every 12 hours tho. just so it didn't explode on me or something bad like that.

Hmm I'm not entirely sure. During 2005 Summer-2007 Summer I had a lot of 14-16 hour days. Probably about 30%. 60% was probably 9-13 hour days. 8% 18+ hour days and 2% less than 9 hour days.

Granted during the time in 2007, nearly all of that time was spent talking or chatting in Grotto or any other place. Same with all the events. I'd be on 18-24 hours a day in Dragon Arena. Basically I was addicted to the game and did nothing else cause only this was enjoying everything else was horrible.

The majority of those days was for a reason, a reason I felt I had to stay on. See in those days (basically the whole 06 year) I had this e-gf. I won't get into details on how we were spose to meet and stuff but that was my main driving force in staying on. I won't say I regret it because I learned things, but I will say NEVER DO NEVER DO EVER.

So all in all out of all my no lifeness and back pains that I got from sitting in the chair, the minimal breaks I had to get up and stretch (bathroom and eating were also accounted for) and those times when I would go camping or family occasions, I would have to say my largest time is probably around 24 hour mark. But I had more 9-15 hour days than most people.

Would I have been happier hanging with my friends outside and inside places, rather than playing this game? Yes, yes I would have been. The only thing I dislike, is the fact my lower back feels like I'm about 60 years old, and I'm not at all. Thankfully! I do not play as much anymore, there are times when there are 8 hour days, but those are very rare. I don't play more than 10 hours a week now and it's usually around 5.

That is the life story, of Gareth Porlest during Guild Wars, be warned and take heed of the dangers!
